About The Presence Group

The Presence Group is a communication coaching and consulting firm led by Kristie Sigler. We work with leaders and subject matter experts preparing for presentations, conversations, and decisions.

The work starts with one question: What does this audience need from you right now?

That question shapes message strategy, delivery, and how we use AI in preparation.

Executive Communication Coach

Clients regularly pause in the middle of a session and ask Kristie, “How do you know that?”

She has a way of seeing patterns, strengths, and sticking points people may have lived with for years without naming, and within a single conversation can identify both what is getting in the way and what they already bring but may not yet recognize or trust.

She pays attention to the gap between what a leader intends and what the audience actually receives, then helps close it.

For more than 20 years, Kristie has studied, taught, and coached communication.

An award-winning Ohio State educator, Kristie works with leaders and subject matter experts preparing for board presentations, conference panels, partnership meetings, executive interviews, and complex cross-functional conversations.

Her work is grounded in one principle: the speaker is the least important person in the room.

She helps clients shift from What do I want to say? to What does this audience need from me right now?

Then they build the message, structure, and delivery around that answer.

Kristie also designs AI-supported communication tools and methods that help people question assumptions, think more critically about their audience, and prepare more effectively without handing their judgment or voice over to AI.

She received Ohio State’s Provost’s Award for Distinguished Teaching, is a member of the Ohio State Academy of Teaching, and serves as the AI and Pedagogy Project Lead for the School of Communication.

She also edited two editions of Persuasive Communication.

Kristie earned her bachelor’s degree from Malone University and her master’s degree in Communication from Ohio State

Because the goal is not simply a better presentation. It is a more trusted leader.
